How to Start a Used Clothing Collection Business!
Business opportunity - good profits selling used clothes.
Start a used clothing collection bin route with our attractive, large capacity clothing collection sheds. Many sizes all with two clothing drop off shoots (not one) and a 3 foot single door on each end for flexible access. These shed bins collect for you any day, any hour year-round at the customer's convenience.
If you have your own thrift shop you can greatly expand your inventory. You place your clothing drop off sheds on a busy road at churches, firehouses, VFW halls, schools, gas stations, shopping centers. You pay them a flat rate per month or so much per bag or estimated per pound price collected.
One shed can collect 800 - 1000 - 2000 - 3000 pounds of clothes per month! You then collect clothes once per week at any time. Store short-term, say in a garage size storage unit, when you get a full truckload -- good profit "as is in bags" to buyers who sort and sell to thrift shops and export around the world. Every city has these buyers of used clothes. Market is high now. To start you can rent largest U-Haul or box truck to deliver. Then repeat.
You can start small buying from us one truckload of four or five used clothing collection sheds at a time. Full truckload of sheds at a time is most economical as you pay shipping from PA. Then you keep adding clothing collection sheds over time as you gain experience and find more good locations to put them. Get 10, 12, 20, 30, 40 or more clothing bins. With 100 shed bins you're in the big time - some have 400 or 500 or more of these clothing collection bins over a wide area and region.
What you will need:
1) A small box van or box truck to pick up clothes from bins - all come bagged, or a pickup truck and large cargo trailer will do same thing.
2) A pickup truck and use a storage shed hauling trailer to move sheds new locations (which I can help you to find), and a small lot to receive clothing sheds as you get four or five at a time until they can be placed. Some truckers from PA can deliver individual clothing bins to final site if known in advance but can only bring three or four up a time.
Depending on what you are doing, and locations, be aware that some towns may have regulations on these collection bins. You also may need a recycle license and or a fundraising license.
You can sell used clothes wholesale to used clothing buyers / sorters as big or small a truckload as you can. You can sell boxes of clothes for more money on eBay / Internet, etc.
You can have your own thrift shop, have clothes on racks, and sell for retail prices. You can sell used clothes ROPA USADA by the pound and sell clothes by weight off large tables unsorted or sorted, less labor high-volume. We can also build mega size collection sheds.
